COORDINATING THE NEGOTIATIONS

Contracts and Consortium Agreements

For EU projects, I base myself on the European Commission’s negotiation mandate to have all the necessary documents drawn up and all the required formalities observed to see the contract* negotiation through to a successful conclusion. Throughout the process I liaise closely with the project coordinator, partners and the European Commission.

Where EU projects are concerned the consortium agreement is highly recommended and partly required. I am pleased to adapt the template of the DESCA Consulting Group to the needs of project partners. Moreover, I coordinate negotiations on this adapted DESCA consortium agreement with the legal consul- tants at each project partner’s site to achieve a satisfactory out- come.

In the course of my activities as administrative project manager I am particularly vigilant about compliance with the European Commission contract* and the consortium agreement.
